5 tracks through the strokes new record, wanna kill myself haha. Is this it is still one of my favorite albums and up until '11 the strokes were pretty good. But Julian is such a poppy woman now. My life is clearly over haha. Any of you blades picked it up? Thoughts?
Total with you on that haha. I just remember back when angles came out I was like "it's okay, it's just an 80's phase" haha. But it seems they're definitely smoothing out their old edges to be more like the cars. Which I guess makes sense cause they were a huge influence to them and their labels/producers are probably backing them into a corner a bit given their massive influence. But hey! At least they were actually all in the same room and speaking to each other to record this time! Haha.
Exactly haha, my heart's set on another tour but I don't think that's gonna happen. I'll keep dreaming though!
