1. Also keep in mind that for a lot of people, they just won't have the resources to grow their own. If you smoke an ounce a week, then getting a 12 ounce harvest every three months is kind of a minimum.

And as a non grower, that's a pretty intimidating task before I even start looking around the tiny box I live in and remember that I'm not allowed to cut any holes for ventilation or run any wires for the power to my lights.

2. If you have enough room for a cabinet 4ft tall by 8ft wide by 30in deep and use led's and cfl bulbs in a continuous harvest cycle,,you can harvest every month while using only wall plug-ins for power,,grow sativa for less odor problems and avoid a lot of ventilation problems,,computer fans will keep air in cabinet changed out,,,,,we are a nation of southern engineers and a little research and effort is worth the rewards of lighting up your organic bud grown by your hand.

If I had a stock portfolio it would be entirely vested in hydroponics and grow industry stocks..:smoking:

3. Federal Government would crack down hard...

4. Doubtful, I feel like they will let things go and view 'rado as an experimental state to see the potential revenues in taxes they could rake it.

5. I don't think so, that's certainly not how they've responded to the medical mj industry.

6. I would be great if it passes. It'll be a positive message to the rest of the world.

7.
I think it's going to happen this time in at least two states,,people are jumping on the band wagon all over the world.....
Let's hope within the next few years everyone jumps on

8. Come on florida

9. lmao that made me laugh.

10. God damn I just hope this gets passed. Maybe the 2012 ending the Mayans made up is instead a new world (hypothetically), that instead of being under control, we're finally free? I dunno, just making a high guess. :confused_2:

11. It's the harvest date,,the aliens that seeded earth with mankind will return and harvest the meat they put in this grow room.

And manumoka, I strongly disagree with you!

"but none of those will actually go towards making cannabis legal for personal consumption, because those studies just indicate that large pharmaceutical companies can isolate and duplicate some of the active compounds, and sell them to sick people as prescription medicine."

By introducing folks to the idea that (a) cannabis IS medicine, not a "killer weed", it becomes less scary; (b) that "normal" people use it and are able to live productive lives because of it refutes the old stereotypes; and (C) The cannabis genie is out of the bottle, we can grow our meds and WILL! Big Pharma can go whistle "Dixie" if they want and TRY to sell me their tricked out synthetic versions! I will always prefer the natural version that I can grow for pennies! :bongin: (and save that all that cash for myself!)

The average Joe won't vote for until he sees how it won't hurt, and may actually benefit, him! Everyone has a nagging worry that they will eventually develop Alzheimer's or breast cancer or prostate cancer. These fears can be used to our advantage- and we are telling the truth (unlike the prohibs :p)!

By presenting the medical facts about cannabis, we remove the old DARE conditioning and replace it with a more realistic and positive viewpoint on cannabis- and THAT will lead to full legalization!

And I am still at it posting up stuff in the comments of news articles. This one didn't have anything to do with cannabis- just that another "chemical wonder " for breast cancer turns out to have major complications. I give them an alternative to think about!

New breast cancer therapy tied to more complications - Yahoo! News

"From the recent news article "Pot compound seen as tool against cancer" which describes the effect of cannabidiol, found in marijuana, on breast cancer cells.

"When McAllister and Desprez exposed the cells to cannabidiol in a petri dish, the cells not only stopped acting "crazy" but they also started to revert to a normal state. Both scientists were shocked."...

"The researchers stressed cannabidiol works only on cancer cells that have these high levels of ID-1 and these do not include all cancerous tumors but, rather, aggressive, metastatic cells. But they've found such high levels in leukemia, colorectal, pancreatic, lung, ovarian, brain and other cancers."

Cannabidiol (CBD), although it comes from the marijuana plant, does not get you high. New strains of "High CBD" cannabis are available in MMJ states. Run a search on "CBD cancer" and see what you get!

There is a lot more to cannabis than just getting high!"

THE OPPORTUNITIES ARE WAITING FOR YOU- TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THEM! Educate, EDUCATE, EDUCATE! :yay:

13. As Storm said,,posting her lists or studies from them has done a lot for waking people up and in some cases angering John Q Public over the hypocrisy of our governments ignoring the medical attributes of the cannabis plant but needs posting in articles that have nothing to do with cannabis because that is where you inform the uninformed.

Going to articles about cannabis and posting is mostly preaching to the choir and a good place to point out flaws in any prohibitionists postings,,but you reach a lot more new people in an article about arthritis,,,and hope a prohib shows up to run off.

Anyone else notice prohibs comments in articles are thinning out and most anti-marijuana articles and op-eds have the comments closed? We have the beast cornered and in just 13 days we will strike a blow on America's Berlin Wall that will be heard around the world.

Go WA,OR and CO,,,vote yes and begin ending this insanity.

14. Clay, I just LOVE those trollish prohibs! They put their foot in their mouth EVERY time !

I just go to my List and pop out a few titles that make them look like total idiots! :devious: They rant the "Pot causes lung cancer".

So I reply with an invitation to look up "{Delta}-9 Tetrahydrocannabinol inhibits growth and metastasis of lung cancer" or the simpler version "Marijuana Cuts Lung Cancer Tumor Growth In Half, Study Shows" from Science Daily 2007.

Once the medical facts about cannbis become known, the need for legalization becomes obvious! Just give them the facts, kids! I have them all available for an email- see the bottom of my sig! :yay:
