Hey guys, Any advice of a cheap and effective light setup for a college student with not alot of spare money, looking to grow 2 or 3 plants indoors for self use. Thanks for the help.

grab a t5, good soil, and a timer... water with ph'd water or in your case grab a 5 gal. of spring water.. start off in solo cups. then transplant to 2-3 gal pots a couple days before you switch light cycle an you should be good. beware of light leaks especially when you switch to the 12/12 photoperiod! gl
