I have 2 600s in my flowering tent, and a 4 foot 4 tube t5 in my veg. Looking to either add a 1000 to the flowering tent, and move a 600 to the veg, or add a 400 to the veg and leave the flower as is.

Then I came across this and it added a few more options in my mind. What do you guys know about these COB LED things? Google didn't give me much.

  2. I too am looking at LEDs to add to my existing lights. Hadn't seen this one before and I'm not impressed with it. At least I wouldn't waste any more time on that one. Saw a glowing review by someone else in another thread here about one called Solar Storm by California Light Works. I've got one on the way. Hope to recommend  it in the future.

  3. You wouldn't waste 235 on a 290 (real wattage) LED?

The new AgroMax intensity series LEDs have this COB chip installed in the middle. This 100 watt model costs more than the 300 watt. http://www.htgsupply.com/Product-AgroMax-Intensity-Series-LED-Grow-Light---114w

I am looking for information on the COB LED. I have seen them in use in a video, and it was EXTREMELY bright. I promise you will start seeing more of these popping up.

The LEDS you linked are WAY over priced. 500 bucks for 200 nominals watts? $1000 for 400w nominal?!   NO THANKS!

300 watts for a grand is impressive, but 300 watts for 250 isn't?
