I have a strain id liked to clone but the problem is I only have a small grow box. Basicly I was thinking about taking a clone right before 12/12 and keeping the clone under a small cfl until the mother is finished about 9weeks. Could i keep a clone in a small solo cup for 9 weeks? Is there ways to slow the growth down on a clone so id have enough time for the mother to finish?
Yes. People keep bonsai mothers for years. I kept three plants in 1 quart containers for 18 months. The preferred method is pruning. I cut my little mothers back every two weeks or so. After 18 months, it plays havoc with the plant structure, but you are talking about only 9 weeks. No problem. There are micro-growers who flower plants in solo cups. They get tiny yields.
