I'm using clone x rooting gel clone x solution rapid rooter plugs humidity dome seedling mat and a floro wing lamp humidity is at 88 temp is around 85 why is it taking so long to show roots. PH at 5.8
I wouldnt worry. Some strains take longer than others. I used to use clone x, but now i just scrape the stem with a razor and stick it in soil. The heating mat is worth it, but the clone x and rapid rooter plugs are a waste of $. How long has it been? I wouldnt even check for roots until one month has passed. Also, yellowing on the lower leaves is a sign that it is growing roots.
Make sure your not overwatering as well. Its a common mistake, but letting the soil dry a bit can promote roots to stretch out in search of water. I rarely lose clones anymore, and i seriously think all of these different rooting products dont hurt, but if anything just speed up the process, which can make people impatient. Let nature run its course.
