Am i to understand that clones from a HYbred will maintain their vigor? if i clone from the mother and someone clones from the clone will it lose anything? does this end in a slower growth rate and reduced yeild>>>>?
theoretically it has the same exact genes as the mother and should carry the same vigor ... as for it losing vigor on the next clone ... i dont know ... try it n see is the only way i know to learn...
After like 20 generations you can get drift, which means some clones will mess up, but I have seen mommies cloned and cloned for years (literally), and then the clones were turned to mommies. (My dad still has a wicked old strain he wont give up on - it is a hybrid but very Sativa dominant). I have to admit that it is a bit of a pain to grow indoors (outdoors it gets huge - no monster buds, but lots of them. It is still a good strain though - he grew only those old strains until I gave him a few berry clones, and he always gets the new strains from me now.
