clogging aeroponic sprayers?

  1. Anyone know any tricks besides redoing the water?

It's always the first one in line that gets plugged, so I was thinking about installing an extra one and letting one get plugged to collect the garbage.

Looking for a better trick. I may just replace the submersible with a larger version that has the sponge filter.

I am using the little sunleaves pump.

The garbage is usually little bits of root pieces.

    TIA

  2. Your pump needs a better filter, get a fish tank one that's meant to deal with huge amounts of solidified fish poop. You should make sure that the roots don't get anywhere near your sprayers also.

  3. I just went to the dollar store and bought some knee high panty hose. Worked well for me althought I am experiencing fluctuations in my PH goes from 6 to 7 from morning to night. I have only just started hydro and have very little experience; anyone else experiencing this?
