Cited with possesion of paraphenalia in ID?

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by wind dodger, Mar 14, 2012.

  1. First charge, and I have clean record other than that. Was very cooperative, didn't get cited for possession of marijuana in the grinder since it was very little and I was cooperative, I looked up the maximum penalties. What do you guys recommend I do for the court date and for my plea?

  2. Damn that's sucks. Happened to me they got my bubbler and grinder but they only hit me with paraphanilia since i didnt have weed (besides .05 in grinder and kief) and I only had to pay a ticket online.

Good luck man, don't wanna give u any advise cuz It would most likely be wrong. Sorry lol

  3. Idaho, right?

If so I thought paraphernalia was decriminalized just recently there...

I'm assuming I will probably will have to do something like that.
And to the decriminalization reply, not yet but there are headships in like every town :/

Its still very illegal if it has resin on it which i assume it did.[/quote]

I guess that's true. I haven't lived there in several months, so I don't really remember.

I thought it was amazing. I moved from Idaho in Oct of 2010 and everything was illegal. No headshops or anything, I go back last fall and they are everywhere! It seemed like such a drastic change in a very short period of time imo.

  9. That's u of I though I go to ISU. It's a more academic school and more strict I guess :/

  10. I'm living in Washington now up in the Bremerton area and there's headshops on every corner and inside if tobacco shops, but that's what happens when you live in a state its decriminalized. c:

  11. Okay this is what you have to do, assuming you aren't lying and have never been caught by the cops for anything before then you should hire a lawyer and request an ARD in court. You will get community service and as soon as you complete it the court will send you the court costs you had to send in back (probably around $50), you don't have to pay any fines so the only expense is the lawyer, and the paraphernalia charge will be removed from your record. If you were respectful and coorperative towards the cops like you said, then they should have no problem agreeing to the ARD.

  12. Dude, I'm the expert on this shit, I've been busted with weed and paraphernalia in ID so many times it's shit.
Anywho, I've never been busted with only paraphernalia, but if you got a lawyer you will proly get off with a fine.
With a public defender you will get unsupervised probation 6-12 months, court and attorney fees, and maybe some community service.
I live in Canyon County and that's what it is here.
I'll go copy my arrest record and delete court case numbers and my name and post em up just for fun ha :smoking:

Edit: All that is assuming they don't just dismiss it, which isn't likely but for someone with a clean record it sometimes happens.

You really suck at not getting caught. Twice in 2 months? How did manage that?

  15. woah, that's a lot of jail time.

  16. I was homeless for awhile and living and slinging bud out my car, jus enough to put gas in my tank, smoke, eat, and re-up:eek:
So I always had it on me since I lived in my car.
Plus a homies house got raided the night I was staying there and I was the only one who got caught with anything, 2 possession charges for a bag of 5 grams of kush, and a jar with like .2 nug in it.
And they got my bong and grinder, but didnt find my scale.

  17. Damn. I was doing the same for a while and never even got stopped. Either way, it sounds like illegal things just aren't for you. You seem...unlucky.

  19. Nah man, I just grew up in a small area where everyone knew what I was doing.
All that's behind me now. I keep to myself, and don't associate with people much.

  20. Cool beans, man. I'm going to OC here in Bremerton. It's nice living walking distance to school. c:
