Choosing a new light

    Hey all. I'm getting ready to upgrade my led light.

    Currently I have two of these

    They only pull 108w actual, and the par is super low. I'm deciding between the following two lights



    Or



    It will be for a 3x3x6 tent growing only one plant.

    I've compared them to that light and read many reviews, and even though the meizhi is a great light and better in certain aspects, it has a short warranty and history of failing after just one year of use.

    I tried reading the comparisons between phlizon and vipar-vipar generally won out.
    Then looking at vipar, it was compared to meizhi-meizhi seemed to have a good record.

    You get the vipar and we can see which lasts longer.haha

    Haha well you definitely have me questioning, especially since the meizhi is cheaper by almost 60 bucks.

    I would check out niemiled.com for well priced quantum boards, they use Samsung lm301b and lm301h diodes and also have the new RSPEC deep red quantum board

    It is better to use Really full spectrum led grow light , not only red and blue

    You need 48 actual watts per square foot of grow space ,, That's not a very good light ...
    It will cover 2 square feet ...

    Neither of those seem like an upgrade unless your current lights are really dire
