Chillwave genre

    Any of you brosefs heard any chillwave? It's got a lot of lo-fi and 80's sounds to it.... killer stuff. I just saw Toro y Moi recently in Athens, GA.

    btw, what up new user just got a bit started for the summer in and around a swamp with great woods and pasture all around. also goin to plant some more a bit later in season to try to get a smaller yield high potency. oh yea, graduatin in microbio soon so im hopin this yall keep some good science threads around. take it easy

    Been listening to toro y moi for a little while now. Always seems to put me in a great mood. :D

    Hell yeah, dude. Neon Indian, Washed Out. My favorite of the like which isn't as chillwave I guess, has to be Small Black.

    Ah, was going to make a thread, glad I searched. I've been getting so into chillwave lately. I really like the underground retro type sound, and most it is really groovy, like it'd be great for dancing. I've been downloading a lot of it recently, but I'm definitely going to get more. I'm really excited that Anoraak is coming down by me, and Phantogram along with Com Truise too. Just some of my favorites:

    Woah, chillwave is awesome. Very smooth and easygoing for the most part haha Reminds me of Crystal Castles a bit, anyone into them as well?

    More on the ambient IDM and downtempo side, but fuck it this track's too good to pass off
