  1. hey,

i just went to my local headshot to buy some joint filters and the worker showed me wha they had. there was the regular paper, cotton, and charcoal. she reccomended the charcoal ones so i got them. they re Gizeh slim filter charcoal active system. i had never heard of any type of filters besides the regular paper ones so does anyone know anything about these and if theyre any good. also is the charcoal safe?

    Thanks!

  2. Sounds cool, does it help make the smoke less harsh?

  3. It has to strip out the good and the bad. Thats why people use water or the vaporizer.

I would not bother with a filter.

  4. THC being essentially a hydrocarbon will tend to really adsorb in the charcoal. Don't use a carbon filter for your weed. You're literally losing THC in the carbon.

Water doesn't absorb or adsorb THC at most you only tend to lose what gets condensed out into clumps that deposit on glass but that's a minimal buildup compared to what activated carbon can absorb.
