Hey all....i need some professional help....now im not one to ask questions without having a look into the problem myself but with this i found no answer......I herd that if you exceed a certain wattage of CFL u need a CFL ballast ...Right?....no what i cant ascertain is at what wattage do i actually need a ballast?...thanks very much in advance
dont CFL have there own balast? The basic ballasts found in old CFL bulbs caused a certain amount of flickering which put a lot of people off CFL lighting. Modern electronic ballasts overcame this problem, and have since been improved to enable dimming (down to as little as 2% of maximum light level) and to allow CFL bulbs to be switched on at a low light level (rather than having to be turned on at maximum light level). mite be the wrong thing
i know i asked the Question correctly....when do i need a ballast..... cuzz there are 120 watt CFL's and all i wanna know is if they need a ballast or not...so what wattage of CFL's require a ballast??????????
