What is the wattage needed for 2-3 plants. And should i get two different type CFLs (i.e. x-watt warm white CFL for veg. stage and a different kind for flower stage)? Can CFLs plug into normal Lamps or does it need something like a ballast? Thanks for any help.
100 real watts per plant and not the incandescent equivalent. 6500k Daylight for vegging and 2700k warm white for flowering. No ballast is needed. Get a couple Y socket screw light adapters to split the power to 2 bulbs instead of just 1.
Well are ya' "Handy" ?......or do ya' need to "just plug things in" Cuz if yur' "Handy" we can build a real CFL grow box I grow 27 plants under 210 watts of CFL's The "100 watt per plant" rule (granted works well for some ) is only if you are a "Plug & Play" kinda guy and wanna grow lil' trees in the house If ya' wanna grow "Just Buds" "Hard Mounted CFL's" are the way to go Have a look at my pics they are all over "The City"
