  1. Yep She is dry. I try for dry between watering, tho she is a hair over dry.

Watered and she came back in 30 mins.

Dj Short Grape Krush Review by Yep.

    Grape Krush
has a fantastic fruity grape scent when braking dryed buds open,
just rub the bud or even stem and smell for ultimate sweetness that waters the mouth.

    The flavor:

Delicious, with a nice grape candy taste, very unique.
    Looks:

Red hairs and glistening crystals covering small-medium sized buds.
    Smell:

    Spicy, but not too strong.
    Effects:

Quick to the center of your forhead buzz then mellows you out to a relaxing high,
great for evening and just chilling, euphoric and uplifting...

    Potency:

    Semi-strong, 1- 1.5 hrs
    Overall:

    The Strain:

Growing- Purple Krush has been easy to grow so far.

My feeling is less is better. Less Nuits and less water. Dj Short is known for Organic

and his strains are said to do better with less. Now i know why.(easy to fry, even at half and lower ratio on nuits)

Easy training for larger yield. Great Micro grow strain.

    Smoking- (So-Far) Keep in mind-

This is my first plant which had a hard time of it and I believe I pulled her a little early.

She rocks, even given the conditions. I still got Med grade meds and a good taste to boot.

Call me stoked and I cant wait till # 2 is done.

She is going great and should be a much better idea of what Grape Krush should be.

Fingers crossed, knocking on wood that is...

  4. Yo, just got caught up, EXCELLENT grow. Great work taking so many pictures! GC is balls and makes you load every picture - if you want head over to "imgur" a photo hosting site that is gaining popularity, I'll vouch for it, it's easy to use and when you upload pictures to it, it saves them in albums, and you can just copy paste links into this forum. Idk just a thought because waiting for so many photos was lame on GC's part..they are behind the times.

Anyways I'm subbed, you got some great strains and great results with less :) Keep it up!

  5. Honey oil weight 3-17-12

Used 14 grams of ground GK shake for my 1st ever run.

    All said and done.
I came away with about 0.2 grams of Oil.

Taste and smokes smooth and a nice fast acting semi heavy hitter... :bongin:

  6. The room 3-19-12

OK this is a mix of shots from the room.

As you can see I built a room inside a small bedroom.
Covered the flower room with a black tarp to keep light out.

On the side you see a box with tech on it.
that is a fan covered and connected to a open window.
Inside there is a couple of half walls placed to keep light
out and let the air through. works great.

I connected the vent to the scrubber and now blow the air out that way.
I'm looking to take the floor fan out and replace with a small fan on the ceiling on the far side of the room for better air movement.

  8. Grape Krush is known for the claw...
Thats how you know you have a real Grape Krush.

DJ Short is said to have lost the mother and there are no longer seeds out there so she is getting harder to find.
My seeds wont be pure but my bonsai mothers will be.

    Side note:
The lights are moved for pics. they go 4 inchs above. The claw is both PH\heat both taken care of today and should be clearing up tonight im hoping. Moved lights, lowered PH.. None flush worthy yet.
    PH was 7.2-7.4

  9. GK-2 3-19-12

So today I started the final phase for GK2.
I cut the fan leaves off and opened
her little buds to the light.
I didn't train her cause there really seems little need with the way she grows.
I left the fan leaves on so the could feed her up fat for me.
Thinking the next few days she will get defencive and get all sticky for me.
great shake as well. there's some sticky on them leaves.

    Before and after shots included:

  11. SCROG 3-19-12The set up is going good. A couple are in the net and most others are close
    and growing fast.
I lost one GK due to slow growth.

The GK hate Nuits so I see burn and the 2 I have in there. they also hate over watering so I have let them go for a little and will semi flush with just water tonight from the GK side and let it flow down to others.
They are going slow as well. I might need to replace with the others ladys I have ready to go.

There are a few SSH SD and GK in the cup that are ready to get to work.
Just have not figured out what I want to do.
I have my Bonsai clones moved from the top of light to under light now and they are looking good.

The ladys in the net are being trained to fill the under canopy then I will
loop through and over the top of the net to over fill and let them go nuts as I pull the ladys I have in flowering now.

so far so good I think..

  14. Yeps-Oil For Spider Mites

    Made some Oil today.
Picked up Ortho elemental 3 in one flower care.

Poured it into a sauce pan and added another bottle of water then

Cinnamon oil, peppermint oil, clove leaf oil and lemon grass oil then
6 chopped red habanero from my yard and 6 cigs worth of tobacco.
    ( I bake a lot,hence oil's )

Boils it on low for a hour.
strained with cheese cloth and chilled.

Tested on one plant then took all plants out of the room.
    cleaned everything.

Sprayed walls and everything heavy and closed room for a hour.

I then trimmed the bottoms of the Lady's and sprayed each as I placed them back in the room.

Left for 20 minutes then sprayed with just water.

They showed a little leaf closing upward then relaxed in a minute.
2 hours later they seem good to go.

Thinking Ill do a light spray in 4 days and be done with it. :smoke:

  15. Guess I should Post that I found a few Spider Mites on The SourD 1.

    1st DIY :smoke: Fan 3-21-12

    Was my 1st fan cover.
Used it to vent & cool the lights in the flower room.
Worked for what it was, got new fans so no need any more.

Now I have one vent line hooked to the scrubber and venting to the veg room.
During the day it cools the veg area.
the other line is just open to air.
I have curves in the line to block the light from the flower room.

Works great and one less fan...

  19. Yep Dem Spider Mites. Well (were spider mites)

I would go with BHO Bro, easy to do,
easy to smoke or canna butter and oil are awesome to cook with.
Google how to and Bam your doing it ..
:smoke: Yep, puff puff pass :bongin:

  20. SSH 2 Training Set up 3-21-12
Cloned from SSH 1 around 2 weeks into flowering.

Rooted fast and is growing great

Buckets have holes every 1/2" . Every other hole has a long tie connected for training.

The plan is to grow low and across width of the bucket
then follow thw side all the while streaching all branches low and across to sides.

Once the main colla reaches across I will start flowering. Might top cut at that point as well..
    well see...
