So I went on vacation this summer to New Brunswick and I was staying at an old friends house. They have a cat named Molly. anyway we'd roll multiple joints all the time and smoke like probably 2-3 every few hours, and every time I sparked one, this cat would come out of no where (one time hopped over the neighbours fence) and will come right over to us and start purring and rubbing against us. Now this is a friendly cat, but when we smoked it seemed this little mooch was a little too friendly. I guess she just liked the smell? also she'd usually mind her own business but like when we were smoking she'd be right up on my lap beside the joint

Yeah, I can see this being the case. My cats run from the smoke but everything about the herb and cats would suggest that they would get along just fine.
My cat seems to hate it. Once I let her smell a joint I had rolled and she sat up as if to get away from it. She has played with nugs I've dropped though, but that's just being a cat.
If the cat hangs around you while you are smoking...no problem. Just dont blow smoke in the cat's face or feed it edibles.

Lol my sisters cat used to run up on a sesh. And yeah, he'd get a little smoke in his face. Seemed to enjoy it. If it would kill him, wouldn't his instincts tell him to avoid it? Not run right up to it?
