Casey Jones. Why does it taste funny?

Discussion in 'Marijuana Stash Box' started by DaDankSkunk, Apr 24, 2011.

  1. I just picked up some casey jones for the first time yesterday, however I only noticed this morning the amazing lack of a distinct smell or flavor. I CAN taste it, but it gets me confused with smoking resin. It kinda tastes like orangey resin, just not as gross... thats the best way to describe it.

    Is it just me?

I'm in Denver btw, most stuff here isn't usually that crappy. My bud came on one nice fat nug too. It looks perfectly fine and gets me nice and high... It's only the smell and taste that throw me off from this being amazing bud.

  2. It is possible that that is just the taste associated with those genetics? The flavor/smell/taste of a batch of weed is just the sum of it's parts: genetics, soil/medium, nutrients, all of the variables of the grow, the cure, how long it took to get to you, the smells it came in contact with....:smoke:

    who knows

  3. Hmm Casey jones smells funky in a good way, it has sour diesel and trainwreck in the genetics.

  4. Well I love trainwreck, never had sour diesel though. If anything, it just tasted like emptiness and warmth. Trying to pick up any sort of scent was difficult as well. Which is confusing because the bud was so nice and purty looking. It had a nice amount of trichomes as well.

  5. Probably wasn't flushed properly or cured to it's full potential. Unfortunately buds like that are everywhere, even in Denver. :(
