Carpet In The Garden?

Discussion in 'Gardening' started by highnifty, May 19, 2014.

  1. My step dad lays old carpet down on his garden and just cuts a gel to plant. All in the effort to not have to weed. But do you think there are any risks with the glues and chemicals in the carpet?

  2. i wouldnt think so i have seen people use big rubber mats also..

  3. No, the chemicals won't be able to get to the plant.

I have rugs all over my gardens pathways. If you pick one up you see a very large variety of life thriving under them along with very fat night crawlers.

    The worms love them.
