Carbs?

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by Markhirsch91, Feb 25, 2010.

  1. Whats the point of a carb on a glass handpipe? i only have one pipe, and its a glass one. what is the point of the carb and do pipes without carbs smoke any differently?

  2. Just as it would seem, it allows air (oxygen) in to the bowl to help with a better, more even burn.

  3. It changes the amount of oxygen in the bowl. Try playing aeound with it while you take a hit and you'll find your preference with it.

  4. Think about the way you hit a bong. You fill the chamber to the point where you want then pull the slide to get all that smoke in to your lungs. Pretty much the same concept once you feel you've got enough smoke you let go of the carb to get all the smoke out of the chamber.
