Carbon Air Filter?

  1. Certainly cant hurt. Do you have a good exhaust fan to hook up to it?

  2. Hi..
My concern is that for odor control, it has a 'activated carbon prefilter helps reduce odors'. It may not be enough, depending on what strain and how many plants.
For less than $200, you can get a high velocity in-line fan and a good charcoal filter, like Tihspeed showed. This setup would definetly remove a lot of odor.

    Good Luck!

  3. Also keep in mind that with these type of filters (can filters) that you need to keep the humidity below 65%. Above that level they become saturated with the damp air and no longer remove odor.

  4. I was using a can1000 but I just switched to mountain air 620. The mountain air with fan was $250 at a local shop good deal for a good combo. I have the can 1000 running outside my tent just for when I have family over. I use ona too cause I'm always paranoid. But better safe than sorry.
I wouldn't grow without a filter tho to much risk.
