You can love your central planners. You may need someone to spend your money for you because you may not be able to take care of yourself. But you will never, ever, have a communist/socialist system capable of putting the time, effort, passion or desire to get the results that you will achieve and variety all of us enjoy through capitalism.

Malcom Gladwell proves this with Spaghetti Sauce:

"Buy embracing the diversity of human beings, we will find true happiness."

  2. Capitalism=you own yourself and your labor
Socialism=the government owns you and your labor

  3. soooo when do we get this capitalism stuff back? and not choices made for me by transnational corporations?

  4. When we elect Ron Paul of course!

  5. can wait to hear your(and all other ron paul fanboys) excuses when Ron paul is not elected...

  6. What excuse if he isn't elected things will stay the same or get worse. If he is elected we have a chance. There really is no excuse for the American people if they choose tyranny over liberty.

  7. is "not enough people voted for him" a valid excuse?

that's usually the reason a candidate loses an election...

  8. Now I want some spaghetti sauce.

  9. Capitalism = the birth of (insert anything that is economically positive here)

Or as Jeff Tucker might put it, capitalism is life itself.

  10. Wow, talk about hitting the nail on the head.

  11. Long live socialism.

  12. I know right?

No system in the world other than capitalism would invest the time, energy or resources to send someone out in to the world to discover this much about something like spaghetti sauce.

Just the amount of detail that goes in to this one tiny aspect of someone's life that most of us never notice or take for granted probably employed dozens, maybe more, of people for at least a few years, satisfied how many millions of consumers and most importantly put this knowledge in to the world that anyone can use.

    Just for Spaghetti Sauce!

Communism/Socialism has problems feeding just half it's population after annihilating most of them. Capitalism has problems with abundance!
