They're okay. Ever listened to Necrophagist? If you like metal and smoking, listen to Cynic or Death. Some of the Trippiest death metal bands, and they're from the 90's. Plus The band Death was the first to really pioneer death metal into what it is today.
haha man, i just smoked the other day and popped in Death - Sound of Perseverance, needless to say it tripped me out.
Hah, thats an amazing album, probably the best one the band ever put out. If you really wanna trip out, listen to the end of "To Forgive is to Suffer" with some headphones. From about 5:23 and on, its pretty sweet. Especially when you get to 5:36, and that crazy guitar effect comes in, switching from ear to ear. You've really gotta hand it to the drummer for writing such a perfect part to something like that.
