Does anybody have any idea what strain of Ruderalis this is, I've been growing it since the beginning of January, and it's now July, I know that it is a Russian strain, but I'm looking for more info on it so I know how to grow it better. I've been using all organics, and organic hydroponics, I still can't tell the gender as they're isn't enough signs yet it looks to be a female, I'm still very new to growing this is my first plant, but can someone please tell me what gender and strain this is.
OK, ill bite, Why do you believe its a Rudi for? Why would you want to grow it for? Did you get it as a clone or have you been picking a leaf or two off it?
1 I believe it's a Ruderalis cus it only grows leaves in sets of 3 2 I want to grow it for high amounts of CBD and learning to grow medical cannabis, or cannabis in general this is my first plant 3 I grew it from seedling, I had 13 random seeds from different bags of weed I bought that were all loud and this was the only one that managed to stay alive 4 I haven't been picking leaves off, although some had fell off at the bottom due to lighting issues. Which I had just fixed
ruderalis is used in a few strains for being spider mite resistent and for its structure..the buds have low thc and suck...I know because in 2005 I grew a strain called 4 way skunk...which was afghani skunk haze AND ruderalis....it has qualities you'd like in every strain...it's hardy it grows fast and well...but it's thc is of low content ...the 4 way strain kicked ass though...but because of the mix of genes and not only the ruderalis....its almost like a cousin to marijuana...kinda like hemp....as far as the sex for that plant goes...no way to tell it's not big/old enough to show preflowers ..and your in Veg mode ...so switch to budding and wait 10 15 days then it will show... plenty of info on Google about ruderalis....but again not ideal to be grown alone....low thc content..and airy weird lookin weeds...it does have its uses in the cannabis world though.... Google it more. good luck and good grows keep us posted Sent from my SM-G600FY using Tapatalk
thought you said it was ruderalis Dude?? WTF? you lost me now...oh well.. good luck and good grows keep us posted Sent from my SM-G600FY using Tapatalk
It is a Ruderalis, it grows leaves in sets of 3 I just don't know what strain of Ruderalis it is, Ruderalis originates from Russia, so I know it's a Russian strain and that's it's a Ruderalis I just don't know what strain it is tho, or what to call it.
aham...and where did you get it? and how do you know it's a ruderalis hybrid? Sent from my SM-G600FY using Tapatalk
Not Ruderalis. Ruderalis is an auto. If it was a Ruderalis, it would've bloomed by now. Also, if that's been growing since January, your light sucks and you need a better one.
But I grew this little guy in January from a seed, from a random bag of weed I bought from a friend. I have no idea what strain and he doesn't know either
And blix you may be right about not being a Ruderalis, but at the same time you can't tell, cus not all Ruderalis auto flower either, I haven't put it into flowering state yet, it's just in vegetative state.
But if it isn't a Ruderalis then what is it, I know it's some type of weed, I wanna know what strain this, for me to know how to grow it better. Otherwise I'm going off the top of my head, and basic chemistry.
I agree it looks like the structure to ruderalis...however I don't think ANY ONE can tell you exactly just by looking at that pic...grow it up...feed it give it good lighting etc...then start the budding cycle....with any luck you have a female hybrid that has ruderalis in it....in which case you'll have a decent plant to work with for the future...so ...your gonna have to tell us what it is... good luck and good grows keep us posted!
