first grow and looking for a soil medium. Originally heard miracle grow organic is ok but I've since heard other opinions. Is Canna Coco ok , looking to keep things simple. 1 plant , 0.6 x 0.6 tent with 250w lamp. Fan and extractor. Also , am I best to start the seedling in rock wool then transfer to the canna Coco or should I just start right off in the medium? Thanks
I did my first grow with canna coco and was very pleased with the results. A soil mix might be a bit simpler though since coco has virtually no nutrients in it, but it's not that hard. Mixing in some perlite might be a good idea, although some people say it isn't necessary. I have no personal experience in 100% coco. Starting in rockwool or a small container with coco are both fine.
