    Can anyone tell me or show me a link to the marijuana laws in Canada? Isn't there something like if you have less than 8 grams they only confiscate it and maybe a fine?

    Here in BC if you get caught with under a half ounce they can just confiscate it. If you're honest they might even let you keep it. If you have empty bags on you and/or a scale, that's another story. Any more than a half ounce you get a fine and/or other penalties. The rules aren't very strict here nonetheless.
