Can you harvest the top half of a plant?

  1. Only the top part of a plant received good light for its first two weeks of flowering. Now I am 4 weeks into flowering and for two weeks now the whole plant has had top to bottom 8000+ lumens with overhead+parabollics. So the bottom half is "1-2 weeks behind".
Will the tops be ready before the bottoms, and if so, can I harvest the tops when they are ready and continue growing the bottom? Or will everything be ready at the same time regardless?

I have a few plants with pink/red/purple hairs on them. Is this genetic or environmental? I can assume they wont turn orange like a white one would right?

  2. Yes you can harvest the tops and leave the rest till they are mature.

The coloured pistils is a genetic thing but they will still go brown/orange when mature.

  3. i harvested my first plant in 3 different sections, over the course of 2 weeks. worked perfectly.
