Can you get your MMJ in colorado if your a felon

Discussion in 'Medical Marijuana Usage and Applications' started by axelmadn, Aug 1, 2012.

  1. Can you get your MMJ in colorado if your a felon?

  2. What did you do?

  3. possession w intent to distro MDMA

  4. You don't have to submit to a background check in your application for a registry card, so I would think whether or not you are a felon wouldn't matter. Unless you are on some sort of parole or state supervision.

Yea no federal law for medical marijuana, and felonies are technically volations federal of law even though some states define certain felonies how they choose(ie. Where I live, Maryland, an ounce is a felony, but I talked to a Seattle cop once who told me a QP there is a felony. Federal law states an ounce as a felony.).

In others words you are fine, there is no law which should prevent you.
