i've seen some templates online, but im not sure if i should put my skills or what. im not certified in anything but i have quite a few skills that make me a valuable asset. if i just put my shitty work history i will for sure be overlooked. i know for a fact i can be a great employee for a company with an entry level position and rise up and help them dominate. there is a company in particular i am looking at that has an opening starting at close to 14 dollars an hour as an assistant. i know for a fact that if i can manage to get an interview i can have the job. can anybody help me out, or post their resume that they have had success with? thanks so much. plus rep to people that help!
You want me to post my resume....on a marijuana site.. no thank you. You said you found a template, run with that. As for your skills, things like fluent typist are helpful, but if its somthing that can be certified (I.e. saying I am a mechanic), then leave it out unless your are actually certified. As for past work experience, put it down, even if its bad. I'd rather hire someone with a couple "Oopsies" than someone who has never had a job.
