would it be possible to grow weed underwater? i mean completely sumerged like in a fish tank with fish, cfl lighting, filtration and everything? is it possible to have a plant grow and have somewhat of a yield?
As long as the nodes arent in the water and just the roots lol but the WHOLE plant underwater? Not sure XD if you had alot of air stones in that bitch maybe? I dont see how the buds would form underwater tho >_<
I'd say no, because the plants need to receive oxygen and things from the atmosphere around it.. but I don't know why people are giving you a hard time. I like the way you think
i bet if you crossed an MJ plant with a seaweed plant you could create some sort of underwater chronic seaweed hybrid. the fish would catch on fast though and smoke all your bud.
Hey... maybe he's planning an outdoor grow underwater! Supplies: 1 clear plastic container (rubbermaid storage bin?) 2 hoses (25-50 ft each) Silicon caulking 1 airpump Electricity (extension cord, solar, generator) Instructions: Drill holes into plastic container same diameter as the hoses. Attach hoses and apply caulking to make water tight. Drill hole at the bottom of container same size as pots. Insert pots and caulk edges to make water tight. Close plastic container and cap off hoses. Submerge in a lake, pond, river... and weight down or tie down. Make sure it's not too deep or it won't get enough light. Attach airpump to hoses, plug in and turn on! I wonder if that would actually work? If the top was sealed it would hold the air... but I'm guessing the plant would die from the roots being too wet. Maybe if you enclose it completely so you could control intake of water via timer. Underwater greenhouse baby! Ok, time to blaze another and go to bed.
