Can I still top this plant?

    Hey GC I need some growing help. I want to know if I can still top this plant or if it's too late and if so, where the best place to top it would be. Was planted from seed Mid-January and was just transplanted to a 5 gallon bucket. Thanks.

    No thats not where you should top it, or even how you top a plant. You dont just cut the top of it off.

    ??????? Really??? Wonder where the term "topping" came from?

    It's basically an annual foliage plant, topping it isn't rocket science, despite attempts to make it so.

    Cut the growing tip off ..... Done.

    Have you ever gardened, or trimmed a hedge, or pruned a tree???

    Jeeze Louise, let's complicate something simple.:rolleyes:

    LOL. No dude. Topping is just cutting the top off. It's extremely basic and simple.

    To the OP. That area you picked out is fine to top at. Snip it off with sterilized scissors or a razor. Or just use your fingers.
