Can I put a 150 watt bulb in

    Can I put a 150 watt bulb in a 400 watt ballast? I have an older Sun System 400 watt ballast with a 400 watt bulb but I want to downgrade the bulb without worrying about it blowing up

    Only if your ballast is dimmable, AFAIK
