who's the carfax for? so you know what you're dealing with, or for potential buyers? i'd say, try selling and unless someone asks for one, don't get one. tell potential buyers if they want it, they can buy it and you'll take that off the price of the car. whatever happened to being able to sell a car without that slip of paper?
