Been posting on lawn sites but no luck so I figured I try here. I have a scag vride 52". Hour meter shows code number 4880 . Won't start, anyone know what this code means? Any help much appreciated. Buzz!
check air/fuel/spark , if you have those then youre all set. If its a random "out of nowhere" problem its probably a wire somewhere. I ve got an older scag walk behind and the ign switch isnt perfect, it needs a wiggle. Same with the connectors to the safety bars. Just what happens to 25 yr old lawn equipment
