Cal/Mag Fix

Discussion in 'Sick Plants and Problems' started by angusbeef, Aug 3, 2011.

  1. Have an apparent deficiency which I have diagnosed 3 days ago as cal/mag in my coco grow on about day 21 of flower.

I was away for a few days, closet also got hot the very top leafs are toasted :(.

My question is in the remedy.

    Thus far...
Today I raised the MH light 6 inchs, flushed 5 gallons of water between the two three gallon smart pots. I poured a pitcher of botanicare pro bloom nutrient solution on the worse plant afterwards.

I flushed yesterday too. It was with a nutrient solution though(only water I had ready). Phed correct though, idk how efficient that was, I don't care.

The day before that I tried light foliar feeding with crushed dolomite lime as well as just feeding some water with dolomite soak directly into the soil.

So lets bring the recap current and discuss a plan of action.

I think its time to just pony up for some cal mag?

    -egg shells
    -dolomite
    -tums

Are all other methods remedies i've heard of.
