I would buy some more $300-$500 bongs and bubblers. For $1500 you could get a nice bong, oil rig/ and or bubbler, and a couple really nice heady slides. Personally I would build up my collection before buying 1 piece for $1500. I got some nice hitman pieces and some pakoh stuff and some toro stuff and now im looking to buy a little bit more expensive heady pieces. Altogether im in the hole around $6,000 but its all well worth it IMO.
My choice for you that would be under you're budget. ^Not trying to knock Apix's stuff at all, because it is the dopest shit you can get for the price from all the opinions and videos I've seen on here, but I think the OP is looking for more than just perfect function. With the amount he's willing to spend I think he'll be wanting something that has flawless welds and perfect symmetry, on top of some top notch heady work. Apix is getting there, give them a few more years.
I took earliers advice and went ahead and got some smaller things - went ahead and got some stuff to start dabbing - never made a dab or took a dab just went off what I saw off vids and read... im dying for a chance to make something fukn crazy! i do custom only so i only make what im asked to i dont usually have time for my own personal art and progression here at this point in life so im itching for a serious piece its been a while since i did one over a g!! itll also give me a chance to show what im actually capable of when given the proper funding and creative freedom!! happy new yr peepzz
yee. Its all about function on a personal note lol. well to me I totally see everyones love for a dope heady piece. I just don't ever keep a piece more than 4 months or so so I am all about progression lol Apix is doing good for a one man army. My stem to double gridded disc was almost perfect but each tube he drops is better then the last. His skill after less then three years is crazy n he will go down as a top dog if he stays original/ consistent. Honestly 1500 dollars in my hand and I would be going the custom route..too many good artist willing to build the piece of your dreams for that price
