Burying branches

Discussion in 'First Time Marijuana Growers' started by Hawaiian Haze, Apr 16, 2009.

  1. I know that if you cover the main stem with soil it will begin to grow roots. But what if you were to bury the fan leaves as well? I'm asking because I have 6 gallon pot thats filled about half way. I have enough soil now to fill it, but don't want to risk damaging the plant by transplanting. Would it continue to grow roots from the branches if I buried them as well? It wouldn't bury the whole plant (of course), just a couple fan leaves at most. Thanks. Also, check out my mucho mango grow. It's lacking any type of activity.

    Thanks in advance.

  2. Yes, the branches will put out roots.

  3. Dammit, because I cut them off. Oh well, successfully added soil. All that matters at this point. Thanks for your help.
