Burping after smoking (not swallowing smoke)

Discussion in 'Seasoned Marijuana Users' started by KrakenSanta, May 6, 2016.

  1. I've been smoking fairly often for about 8 months now, and just about 2 months ago, I started to have to burp a lot mid-hit. I'm not swallowing smoke, so maybe this is just a new side effect I get from certain strains?

  2. seems totally normal to me! that almost always happens, and when it does a little smoke comes out too unless it's painful I wouldn't worry too much over it, probably just the way you hit it (whatever you're smoking out of) I've found that it happens more often when I smoke from a bong or blunt

  3. That's also how I smoke, bongs and blunts. No smoke ever comes out and I'm certain that no smoke enters my stomach. Maybe when I hit, I swallow a small bit of air before the smoke comes in

  6. Yea it is pretty normal. When you are inhaling or prepping to inhale you probably build up a little air in your stomach/air way. Probably a more common when ripping a bong or taking big deep hits. Also if you cough a good bit you can get some air bubbles and need to burp after.

  7. Gotcha, thanks!
