    Hey guys, I'm toying around with the best methods of smoking hash. It's the first time i've been able to get some and we've smoked about 3 grams of it topped in bowls, sandwiched in bowls and it's been pretty awesome but slightly wasteful. Hot knifing isn't possible right now because my stove's heating element isn't exposed. I'm going to try the method where you light it and then put it under a glass cup, using a straw to smoke.. but I have a few questions to those of you who have tried this method before.

    Is using one of these thumb tacks okay? I don't have much in the way of random pins lying around. I have some resin covered paper clips but i assume a thumb tack would work better.

    Do you have to light it and let it roast for a few seconds before blowing it out? I'm wondering what the best method is? From what i've searched/read I would just take a chunk and stick it on the end of the thumb tack, light it, blow it out, and then lay the glass cup over it.

    Alright so I just tried it a few times with like .05 - .1 amounts. You really have to get the even light going at the beginning and let it toast for long enough before blowing it out or it seems like it won't smoke at all or smokes too quickly. Otherwise it worked well!

    I would go with the paper clip, but maybe hold it with a sock or something, it'll probably get hot.

    Ya it can be a bitch gettin it just right, but ive done it before and thought it was alright. Its definately better to smoke it from a bowl or bong IMO

    get a screen, put in bowl. burn hash, take over world

    you can take a chunk and press it to the side of a bowl and just keep it tilted so it doesnt fall into the hole and smoke it up..after each hit put something over the bowl like business card to snuff it out
