i accidentally knocked my bong over while the slide and downstem were still in it. it's glass on glass. i made a paint picture to depict where it broke. can anyone help me on how to get the old downstem out? the blue line is where it severed.
first thing that came to my mind was to fill your bong with water then put a cork in the broken part and blow hard into the bong.. the pressure might force it out
I was going to say just fasten a piece of wire coat hanger (or maybe a paperclip if it's loose enough) into a little hook, stick it down there, grab on to the end and pull it out. Could work if the other solutions fail.
I couldn't find any stoppers or glue so i started playing around with it with a pocket knife and eventually i got the DS to twist then i gently lifted it out. off to the LHS
