I didn't see any notice nor email about the blogs disappearing. That's too bad because there was a lot of good info there. I thought it was one of the nicer features of this community. I urge you to reconsider that choice.
We're not planning to, let me explain my reasoning, as we are not a blogging platform, we would like to return to our core business here, and that is being a Forum. The Blogs were becoming a spamming SEO parasite place where our moderators could not bring order any more. The blogs were not on topic, chaotic and given the competition in blogging platforms, for instance with something like Wordpress, they were just shitty (in design, not your content, don't get me wrong there). So that said, with our limited resources we need to focus on the good stuff and we decided to sacrifice the blogs for future the quality of the Forums in general. I hope this make the loss of the blogs more understandable and transparent for you - SJ
Oh, sure, I understand about it being a distraction but it was also a place we could attach things like a table of contents for our work with links to that part of the thread. With a very active thread with a bunch of guides and recipes and other valuable information that's over 450 pages long, I need a way for folks to find what they need. Too bad. An alert would have been nice, especially for the bloggers. My thread is more of a blog needing different tools than you're offering, including editing. I guess I should find a blogging site, then.
If you can explain me your needs detailed , we may cook something other than a blog solution that could be integrated to a specially designed forum section.
Lizard Is there a way to pull up Sams info from the old blog so he can copy he put a hell of a lot of hard work into it. Just wondering
The data is still kept intact so yes there is a possibility but to do so i need some free time. Once we resolve the initial rush i'll gladly assist everyone to gather the required data they need from blogs. But that will most likely happen in April as my march schedule is extremely booked.

That would be great if possible. I don't know if you're familiar with my thread, Another Tincture Thread - Try it, Youll like it. It's pinned to the Incredible, Edible Herb forum. I never expected it to get as long as it has but it just keeps going like the energizer bunny. I have a lot of stuff that's scattered throughout but the thread has gotten too long to just browse. I wish I would have been able to get a screenshot to show you what I had there. The other blog stuff wasn't important and I don't mind losing it. BKS had started using the blog for her table of contents so I started, too. I just would like someplace off the thread that I can add links for the different guides and then link to it from the thread. It needs to be edited from time to time to update. I put a lot of work into my thread, not for me but for the community and it would be nice to have it easier to access. Thanks in advance from me and my readers if you can think of something, but I'm not real tech savvy.
