My favorites include Paysage D'Hiver, Hate Forest, Drudkh, Dub Buk, Satanic Warmaster, Gontyna Kry, as well as some Darkthrone, Burzum, and Mayhem.
Some black is alright with me, but not a big fan of the scene and I prefer growls over screams. But Det Som An Gang Var is a goddamn good album (Burzum)
Yeah, I listen to Black Metal; it's one of my favorite genres. My favorite band is easily Burzum. Varg wrote some fucking amazing tracks. You probably recognize my avatar then. BATHORY!!!!!!!!
I'm down with Black Metal pending current mood. I'll throw on Darkthrone once now and then; I am more of a grind fan (Phobia, Circle of Dead Children, Magrudergrind, Nasum, etc), but that is just what I grew up with. Though, Bathory, now there is some awesome tunes ... nice plug!
I find black metal to be pretty hilarious, but that's because I usually take lyrical content pretty seriously. still fun to play on guitar though.
