    Was wondering is this soil good to grow bud with?

    It's not soil man it's COCO COIR, google it bro.. basically the coconut husks off a coconut!!

    It says it has perlite. Should i add more?

    He's right that's coco. Which works great but has a different routine than soil. Look up coco grows and how they water and preload nutes ect.

    Black magic does make potting soil too that's great

    I read a couple articles. Basically said its okay, to mix with soil or perlite. But this has perlite.

    But ill do research on actual soil i should use.

    Yeah don't mix coco with soil. The ph needs are different.
    Stick to coco. And pears about it. Read read read, Good luck! Cocos great

    Okay thanks. This is good stuff.

    I cant believe everything online. Even when it comes to reading about growing bud. Glad i asked on this forum before using it. Like the website suggested.

    All good man m9prime is a legend with soil I grow (trying to grow) in DWC ask away, and read a shit load man!! Good luck

    Yeah looking up soils now , that the closest home depot may have that works good with weed.

    Home depot sells black magic soil in some places. Not here in canada.

    But if you can get some Promix HP ( Common in the states )

    Yeah i seen they had it online.
    They didnt have promix in the store.

    They had a crap load of miracle gro in the store tho.

    Stay away from miracle grow.

    Any decent potting soil will work when mixed with perlite. Hell I've used Walmart brand potting soil with success.


    First grow using cfls.

    I just read using pretty much any , organic all purpose soil ,will work. . .whats your take?

    Why don't you just use the Black Magic Coco? Why are you now considering soil?

    I'd say use the coco. Learn it. You'll get a better outcome than with soil if done right.

    Organic all purpose soil would be good but perhaps a bit strong for seedlings.

    And thanks! I very much look forward to smoking my plants too lol.


    First grow using cfls.
