I really want to set up a mountain bike/camping getaway on the Palmetto Trail and was wondering if anyone has done this. I wouldn't have enough time to do the whole thing, but doing a few sections would be cool. Just picked up a new Cannondale mountain bike and would love to put it to use for something like this rather than just day trips. Pretty much I was wondering if the trail was set up for biking because I would rather do that than hike it. And then what camping was like out there.
