Hey whatsup guys? I hope this is the right place to post this. My friend just moved into a new house. Theres 2 shacks in the back yard. One thats closed--for lawn crap like mowers and whatnot. The others open--with a cheep plastic roof. he plans on growing some mary j in the open one. Put in lights, the whole shabang--a possible hydro system. ANYhow. Hes not going to be living in the house for long. The lease expires after a year. And he wants FAST growing plants--not ment for selling, mostly all the clippings for personal use. So it would all be for personal, and he wants somthing that will grow very quickly. So if you could tell me the quickest growing strain that would be great! (from germination to flowering) I've found shit here on grasscity that grows pretty quickly (8 weeks e.t.c.) Anyone know some good quick strains off the top of their head? peace, Will
there is a strain for this ...its called "lowrider". I forgot the seedback but just look it up on seedsdirect or something. Its suppost to flower in something like 50 days max
Ok, Lowryder is an autoflowering strain, and i doubt it would get big enough to get clippings. On top of that, im not sure you would want clones of an auto flowering plant. Ive grown topp 44 before and it finished in 50 days even.. i was very pleased, and got around 2.5 ounce per plant. Only thing I'd add wold be to think a bit ahead. I'm at week 8 of flowering now with my first grow from bagseed. I've harvested the first 3 plants and have flushed a further 4 for cropping in a week's time, but I do have a further 6 plants that look like they have still got 3-4 weeks left yet. What I'd recommend is that you take cuttings / clones early on. I waited until mine were in flower before cuting them and I'm having a nightmare trying to get them to root. Make sure you name or number the plants and record which clones came from which plant so you can ditch any that subsequently turn out to be male. As for TCH101's post, brilliant again, thanks for that, I'll certainly try some of those for my future grows!
