  1. I'm talking about pure darkness and the ability to see the milky way spread across the sky with a breath taking Amount of stars

I cannot claim to be any kind of astronomer, but the most spectacular views I've ever had of the heavens were east of Logan, Utah. Looking northeast across Wyoming, leaving the Wasatch. Not a city light in view, just a vast black blanket sewn with kindling jewels

  3. Away from cities. Praries, Badlands, Tundra, etc.

  4. Montana and Alaska

  5. The northern lights.. In Canada I believe.

  6. Forests too. Anywhere that there aren't man-made lights to impede on the natural beauty you can see.. and if the stars are light it makes the moon BEAUTIFUL

  7. Also Alaska.

Back country of Yosemite National Park.
You can see EVERYTHING and see shooting stars every couple of minutes!

  9. Yeah, just pretty much away from cities. I've watched the stars from the coast of the caribbean sea(it was a very remote area, only the hotel was around) and it was probably the clearest, purist i've ever seen the night sky as of right now.

  10. Definitely not where I live.
