Best macro quality for value?

  1. Hi artists of GC I myself am not one but am interested in buying a camera. I would like to have a quality macro setting to take nice pictures or herb bit also a good normal camera. The biggest thing is I don't want to spend more than 200 dollars and id really like to get the best price for value. So fellow blades help me out!
     
  2. honestly you may be better off getting a simple point-and-shoot. nowadays, those things have fantastic settings, quality and abilities. most of them will have excellent macro settings. the point-and-shoot i have is a few years old but takes awesome macro shots. and it only cost me $110.

    as to which model or brand, i can't really help you there. i will always recommend nikon, as i have a nikon dslr and love it, but my point-and-shoot is a canon. and i love that too!
