This is going to be my first grom and I am going to have both white widow and northern light. I have soil ferts. . . . ect. However im not sure which lights i should buy does anyone have any suggestions?
this will depend on your budget: the best option (and i think this is fairly well accepted by most growers) is to have a ballast that supports both hps and mh (high pressure sodium and metal halide). You would use the mh for veg and hps for flower...this is because of the spectrum emitted by the lights mid range price would probably be to buy just a mh or hps: you could buy one of these for around 150 if you shop around if you are looking to spend under 100 dolalrs then you could opt for using fluorescents which arent perfect but will still grow your plants from seedling to harvest
