Completely customized to your needs. They carry a general spectrum (red blue white) and a flowering-based model (mostly red with less blue). When I ordered mine, I literally cut & pasted the specs from the Advanced Diamond Series. Which is basically the same as the flowering based model except my spectrum setup included UV. The blue & white LED for vegg is just the basic aquarium light setup. I tried both a general spectrum & a blue & white spectrum, and by far had better results with the blue & white. No red is needed during vegg so any watts allocated for red is just a waste. The Mars II 400 (A80) is the perfect vegg light. But you def want it with a blue & white spectrum setup.Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum mobile app

  3. What's the heat difference between 400W LED and 1000W hps? Do you need cooling for the 400W LED?

  4. No cooling setup needed. I'm running three Mars II 700 panels and the only thing I do to maintain a temp in my closet of 85 degrees (or lower) is just to keep my house AC set to 80 degrees. They put off a lil heat. Just enough to be warm but not hot.

  5. My Mars II gets hot as balls. I don't understand how LED manf. can say you don't need cooling, my SolarStorm gets hot too -- especially in the summer time.

  6. Funny mine doesn't get hot at all

  7. I think it's all relative. Mine is hot compared to cfls or tubes but a traditional hood is hot compared to mine. I don't need to run dedicated cooling for it, so I consider it only warm.

  8. Has anyone looked at KIND LEDs I'm thinking of getting their K3 L300 for a 4x4 space. I need something cheep to cover a 4x8 flower tent, any suggestions.

  9. That's 100% garbage. I'm running 3 Mars II 700 in a small closet, number 4 up thi week.6 months so far. And I keep a separate vegg closet. My flower closet with 3 Mars II 700 is only maybe 6'x4'. I keep the door shut with just an AC vent in. House AC stays on 80 durin SUMERR. And closet doesn't top 85f. I had 2000w hps in same closet. I had to turn 1 1000w Phantom off at beginning of Sumer cause was over 105F all day. Each one of the Mars 900 or 1200 will do a pound. On MY WORD. Just need proper setup . Check my thread, that's where the facts are out

If you're going to call me out then alright.

Post a picture of your AccuRite and your ventilation setup (I've looked through the first eight pages of your thread). I don't believe YOU anymore.

Great way to be a douche. You're the one that sold me on this light. Don't believe him when he says he packs four of them into a closet and keeps them magically cool. It just doesn't work that way. He's gotta have the bells and whistles when it comes to ventilation.

Either way, this dude will suck TOPLED's nuts for a free light. He's got a legit grow but you can't listen to one owner and one owner only. I am TOPLED user as well and my words still stand.

Here's a picture of my AccuRite in my 4x4x7 tent. I'm using a 400W SolarStorm, a more established brand than TOPLED. They promised me I didn't need ventilation but lookie here.

Suck my nuts. LEDs produce heat. Being TOPLED's bitch doesn't change that fact.

Gotta say - I'm calling BS on this as well.

2100 watts (aprox 1300 actual) in a closet is going to produce a LOT of heat.  Certainly more than 5* above ambient with no ventilation.  People need to understand that every watt of lighting you put into a room eventually ends up as heat.  Doesn't matter if the fixture is magically 100% efficient the light produced will strike a surface inside your room and will generate heat at that point.

All 1300W fixtures regardless of design/efficiency produce the same amount of heat - 1300Watts worth.  Hell, you could put a 1300W heater in the room and it would still only produce the same amount of heat as a 1300W LED fixture.

The only reason people see less heat with LED lighting is because they need less wattage to produce the same amount of light.   That and people actually believe the marketing when they buy a 700W fixture and believe the fixture actually uses 700W instead of the 450 or so actual wattage that is used.

  13. Lol.  Cool it turbo.  It's the internet - nobody cares.

Take down the picture of the wad of cash.  It's so childish I am embarrassed for you.

I've got to laugh at the 3 lights daisy chained together.  2100 supposed watts on a single circuit only capable of delivering a maximum of 1800 watts before the breaker trips.

WTH do you only have 1 plant per light?   Are your 700W lights only capable of growing 1 plant each?   And a pound?  Those plants are already well into flower and will produce nowhere near 1lb!   How are you so sure that the 900W version will produce over a pound per light when your own grow will be lucky to get 1/4lb per 700W light.  Your word doesn't mean squat to anyone here.

Until you can prove the established fundamental laws of Physics are incorrect - I'm going to call BS until the cows come home. Start with "The law of conservation of energy".   2100 watts is 2100 watts.  That's a shit-tonne of heat.   Maybe you somehow are able to control it with only an AC vent in a large closet but that won't be the norm.

  14. My 800w solar storm needs ventilation in my can. It's 3.5' x 4.5' and 5' tall. If I turn off my fan I'm at 110 really really quick. With just air (no AC) I hover high 70's- low 80's winter and maybe 90 on a hot summer day.

  15. I'm with Tylerm, those plants in those pictures are nowhere near a lb per plant. I pull 2-4 oz per plant and will do better as I tweak my soil. I use one 800 for 2 flowering at a time. I just don't see an increase in 14oz per plant. Maybe a scrog could or if I had a shit ton of vert space.

  19. To my buddy TYLERM428,
What does you LED vegg area look like? Here's mine after 3 weeks with only using a 270 blue & white LED from LG LED SOLUTIONS...
What I'd do unsatisfactory here? What doesn't meet your approval, your majesty? I only serve to pleaße thee...
Check pic 4, the absorption rate & penetration of useful light is so much greater than hps/mh that the plant doesn't even have to be in direct light at all for it still to flourish. Peep my Sour Strawberry Diesel mom in the back left. Or in the flowering pics in the post above, check pic 4 with my Sour Lemon OG cola growing up the outside of the LED panel. In the dark... So, you've been quiet TLYER428, how's your garden comin along so far? If I'm so 'laughable.... childish... You feel embarrassed for me. Put your money where your punk a** mouth is, and put up or shut up. I also have 5 Playmate girlfriends and sleep on a pile of cash. How's your life going? Don't fu** with me. Respect me. And I respect you. But you wanna disrespect me, now prove you even qualified to evaluate your dog's stool sample. So grab the poop bag and scoupe that pile off the county sidewalk before ya get a $50 fine. Then examine it thoroughly. Then re-examine. Then take a look at who you were embarrassed for?... sorry to tell ya that was you lookin in the mirror at yourself.... But I still love ya. And everybody makes mistakes. So you are still invited to my thread lol. As if u care... but you should if you wanna see 5 months of complete results using LED as a primary lighting source. Seed to Harvest...

    Love u Tyler428 :)
