Hey all just a few things I could use advice with: 1. Best way to dispose of excess leaves / stalks / soil? (I was thinking composter?) 2. After watering plants in the basin I created what is the best way to dispose of excess water?
1. My dog eats all the trim lol. But the best way to dispose of trim is fire. In the odd chance the leaf in composted didn't break down your in possession. 2. Suck off any runoff, don't let pots sit in a puddle. either pour it off or suck it up with turkey baster.
Compost, burn, or bury them. My friend used to eat them, he would try to make salads out of the leaves, but apparently they don't taste good. After a while if you bury them, they will decompose. You can put sponges around the drain area of your plant, or create a drain hole.
