Is it worth growing weed without good lights and by basically just letting it grow? I'm taking care of some new plants as well as I know how. I've done tons of research, but as of yet I lack the funds to do everything as well as it should be done. Will the plants I grow even be toke-worthy?
Are you talking indoors? What kind of light would the plant get? Look, I try not to dump on people, but this really is a stupid question. We can't advise if it will grow by you telling us what you won't give it. What will you give it? And why won't you give it good light? We need more info to answer you, but if I had to commit to an answer to your question right now with the little info you have provided, my answer would be "no, not worth it." Just get a bunch of CFLs.
